Every once in awhile, I get one of those sessions that really just feels more incredible than normal! This mountain maternity session in Las Vegas was definitely one of them. I loved every moment working with these wonderful parents-to-be and they were ON FIRE the entire session! They’ll be welcoming their first baby this year and I’ll get to see them a lot, since they’re doing my Bump to Baby package. There’s something so, so special about watching your little one grow up, especially after photographing maternity portraits for you!

Mountain Maternity Session in Las Vegas

For their session, we headed up one one of the mountains here in Vegas. Honestly, it was a nice change of pace because the summers here are brutal! The cool air of the mountain felt so nice. She chose two gowns from my client collection. The gold dress is Sew Trendy Accessories, but both are available to anyone who books with me! She looked absolutely incredible in both gowns and I think they both worked perfectly with the mountain views. In fact, she actually brought the headpiece to match the gold dress and donated it to my client closet after the session – which was super sweet!! Now, it’s available too for my future mamas!!

She and her husband were naturals in front of the camera, too. It made my job so easy! I loved watching them together – and it was sweet to see how affectionate they are with each other. I know they’re going to be wonderful parents. I can’t wait to see them for their newborn session and then to make their gorgeous heirloom album of these images and of their new little one. It will be a great way to display these images!
