As a family photographer, there’s no greater gift than working with a family more than once. I love knowing that I’m trusted with someone’s special moments – and to be able to do it more than once is such an honor! This sweet family first came to work with me when they were expecting their daughter several years ago. Now, look at how big she is!! They’re expecting baby girl #2 now, and asked to do another maternity session with me. I couldn’t wait! I loved the chance to catch up with them during their Floyd Lamb Park maternity portraits. It was so fun to hear about how things have been – and to see their first little girl’s absolute joy over becoming a big sister!

Floyd Lamb Park Maternity Portraits

For this session, there were a few special things that happened! First, they asked to include their dog – which was one of the reasons we chose Floyd Lamb Park for their portraits. He’s been a part of the family longer than the kids, and he was just so sweet. He even wore a tie! It was adorable. The second was that mom asked about matching looks for her and her daughter in the photos. Thanks to my client closet full of couture dresses from Sew Trendy Accessories, we were able to create some beautiful “matching” looks for both ladies. They both looked incredible, too!! Floyd Lamb Park looked amazing during our session. It’s one of the few places you can find greenery like this in Las Vegas. While it does take some maneuvering around the geese, it’s always worth it.
